Deposit, Withdraw, Send and Convert

How money gets into TRUE, out of it, between your own wallets and across chains: one convert screen, Relay routing, and who signs what.

The four things people mean

  • Deposit / receive: someone sends assets to your address.
  • Withdraw / send: you send assets to an address you name.
  • Convert: you change one asset into another, on the same chain or across chains, in one step.
  • Transfer between your own books: moving value between the accounts you hold inside TRUE, for example funding the perps venue or a copy wallet.

All four live on the Wallet screen, and all four are signed by you.

Deposit

Every chain has an address. Solana assets go to your Solana address; anything on Robinhood Chain, Base, Ethereum or BNB Chain goes to your EVM address, which is the same string on all four; USDT on Tron (TRC-20) goes to your Tron address and is converted into your Solana balance on arrival. A deposit is an ordinary on-chain transfer, so it confirms at the speed of the chain it arrives on, and TRUE is told by watching the chain rather than by you telling us.

Card, Apple Pay and Google Pay funding runs through the Buy screen (Onramper or Crossmint, Banxa as fallback), into your Solana balance as USDC. See Buy with Card.

Send the asset to the chain it lives on. USDC on Base sent to a Solana address does not arrive somewhere else, it does not arrive at all. The Wallet screen shows the chain next to the address for that reason.

Withdraw and send

You name the destination address, TRUE builds the transaction and your wallet signs it. TRUE holds no key that can move your assets and never has. See Non-Custodial by Design.

Withdrawing from the perps venue is its own path, because collateral there sits in a verifier contract rather than in your wallet: it is owner-signed and settles on chain. See Perps DEX.

An address you paste is an address you are responsible for

A withdrawal to the wrong address, or to an address on the wrong chain, cannot be reversed by anybody, including us. Check the first and last characters, and check the chain.

Convert: the one that does the work

Convert changes anything you hold into anything you want, and it does not care whether that crosses a chain boundary.

Sell from any chain you hold a wallet on: Solana, Base, Robinhood Chain, Ethereum, BNB Chain.

Receive on any chain the routing covers, which today includes Solana, Ethereum, Base, Robinhood Chain, Arbitrum, Optimism, Polygon, Avalanche, Linea, BNB Chain and Tron.

The destination defaults to your own wallet on the receiving chain. You can type a different address instead, and that is the moment to read the warning above twice.

What routes it

RouteRouter
Solana to SolanaJupiter
Anything crossing a chainRelay first
Solana out, when Relay has no routedeBridge, as the fallback
Swaps on an EVM chainLiFi and 0x

Relay is the default because it is faster and cheaper: a solver fills the route in seconds for cents, where the older bridge charged a fixed fee per order and took minutes. The quote you see is the quote the server produced, and web and the app call the same function, so the two cannot disagree.

Transfers are watched server side. Closing the tab mid-route does not lose the transfer.

Transfers between your own books

Inside TRUE you can hold more than one book: your main balance, the perps venue account, a copy wallet for following a leader, and an agent’s funded book. Moving value between them is a transfer you sign, and each book keeps its own margin and its own risk. That separation is the point: a copy wallet blowing up cannot reach your main balance.

See Copy Trading and Agents.

Honest limitations

  • A cross-chain route takes time. On a fast-moving token the price when you arrive is not the price when you tapped.
  • Gas is real, and on Ethereum mainnet it is dollars. A small convert there can lose a noticeable share to fees. See Chains and Wallets.
  • ”Submitted” is not “settled”. Cross-chain finality is bound by the slower chain; wait for the destination to confirm before acting on the balance.
  • A quote is not a guarantee. Thin liquidity on either leg moves the fill.
