AI Pro Charts

TRUE's professional charting surface — live price charts, derivatives intelligence, institutional flow data, and an AI assistant with full market context.

TRUE AI Pro Charts is a professional-grade market analysis environment that combines institutional-quality derivatives intelligence with a live TradingView chart and an AI assistant that knows exactly what you’re looking at. It is built for traders who want to see the full picture — not just price, but the structural forces underneath it.

What it is

AI Pro Charts is TRUE’s dedicated charting surface for deep market analysis. It provides a live price chart with a comprehensive suite of technical indicators, real-time derivatives data (open interest, funding rates, liquidation levels, long/short ratios), institutional flow tracking for major ETFs, and a persistent AI chat panel that has full context of the current chart state — symbol, timeframe, active indicators, and live market metrics. Every overlay and every data panel feeds into the AI’s context automatically, so asking “why is funding negative right now?” produces an answer that is grounded in the specific data visible on your screen, not a generic explanation.

Disclaimer. TRUE provides information, analysis, and tooling. Nothing on this platform constitutes financial advice, investment advice, or a recommendation to buy or sell any asset. Users remain solely responsible for their own decisions and outcomes.

Who it’s for

  • Active traders who need more than price — funding rates, open interest, liquidation levels, and institutional flow in a single interface.
  • Derivatives traders who want to understand the structural positioning behind a price move before sizing a trade.
  • Analysts and researchers who want to ask the AI follow-up questions about what they are seeing without switching context.
  • Portfolio managers who track ETF flows as a leading indicator of institutional sentiment.

How it works

The chart

The charting engine is powered by TradingView’s industry-standard library, which means the drawing tools, indicator behavior, and candle rendering are familiar to any professional trader. Supported timeframes span from 1-minute candles through weekly candles. The chart connects to TRUE’s price engine for real-time tick data and historical candles, ensuring the same data quality and failover guarantees that power the rest of the platform.

TimeframeDescription
1m, 5m, 15mIntraday — for short-term setups and scalping analysis.
1h, 4hIntermediate — for swing-trade structure and session analysis.
1DDaily — for trend identification and major level analysis.
1WWeekly — for macro structure and long-term context.

Technical indicators

The chart supports the full standard suite of TradingView indicators across all major categories:

  • Trend — Moving averages (SMA, EMA, WMA), VWAP, Bollinger Bands, Ichimoku Cloud, Parabolic SAR.
  • Momentum — RSI, MACD, Stochastic, CCI, Williams %R, Rate of Change.
  • Volume — Volume bars, OBV, Volume Profile, VWAP deviation.
  • Volatility — ATR, Historical Volatility, Keltner Channels.
  • Oscillators — Awesome Oscillator, Ultimate Oscillator, Chande Momentum Oscillator.

Multiple indicators can be active simultaneously. Indicator settings persist across symbol changes within a session.

Derivatives overlays

AI Pro Charts’ primary differentiation from a standard chart is the derivatives intelligence layer. These overlays provide structural context for price moves that price alone cannot explain.

Open Interest (OI). The aggregate USD value of all open derivative positions on the asset. Rising price with rising OI indicates new money entering the trend. Rising price with falling OI may indicate a short squeeze or position closing rather than genuine demand.

Funding Rate. The periodic payment between long and short derivatives holders that keeps perpetual contract prices anchored to spot. Positive funding means longs are paying shorts — markets are skewed long and paying a premium. Negative funding means shorts are paying longs. Persistently extreme funding in either direction is a structural signal visible in the overlay.

Annualized Funding. The funding rate normalized to an annual percentage, making it directly comparable to other yield instruments.

Long/Short Ratio. The ratio of accounts holding long versus short positions on major derivatives exchanges. Available as a global aggregate and broken out per major exchange for more granular analysis.

24h Liquidations. The total USD value of positions liquidated in the past 24 hours, separated by direction. A large liquidation event is often visible as a sharp price move with a corresponding spike in the liquidations panel.

Whale Net Position. The aggregate net positioning of large accounts (whales) on major derivatives venues, showing whether the largest players are net long or net short.

Cumulative Volume Delta (CVD). The running difference between buy-side and sell-side taker volume. Divergence between price and CVD — price rising while CVD falls — can indicate weakening buyer conviction.

Liquidation Heatmap. A price-level overlay that visualizes where clusters of open positions are concentrated and therefore where forced liquidations would occur if price reaches those levels. High-density liquidation clusters are potential price magnets.

Exchange-Specific Funding. Funding rates broken out per major exchange (Binance, Bybit, OKX, and others) to identify cross-venue discrepancies that can indicate basis trade opportunities or exchange-specific positioning imbalances.

Institutional flow panel

AI Pro Charts tracks daily net flows for Bitcoin and Ethereum spot ETFs. ETF flow data is a leading indicator of institutional demand — a sustained sequence of positive net inflows signals increasing institutional allocation, while consistent outflows signal the reverse. The flow panel presents this data as a bar chart synchronized to the daily candle timeframe.

KPI ribbon

A horizontally scrollable strip of key metrics sits above the chart, providing an at-a-glance snapshot of the most important derivatives metrics for the currently selected asset: current price, 24h change, OI, funding, long/short ratio, and recent liquidation totals. The ribbon updates continuously so the most current data is always visible without scrolling into the panels.

AI market take

A dedicated panel generates an AI-written current market summary for the selected asset, updated as conditions change. The summary synthesizes price structure, derivatives data, and recent catalyst context into a human-readable market read. Users can expand the summary into a deep analysis mode that provides a more detailed breakdown of the factors visible in the current chart state.

The AI chat panel

The AI assistant embedded in AI Pro Charts has full, live context of the current chart state:

  • The selected asset and timeframe.
  • All active technical indicators and their current values.
  • Live derivatives metrics (OI, funding, long/short ratio, liquidation data).
  • ETF flow data for the relevant asset.
  • The current KPI ribbon values.

This means questions like “is the current funding rate unusually high for this asset?” or “how does the current OI trend compare to the last major breakout?” are answered with reference to the specific data visible on the user’s screen, not generic market knowledge. The AI chat panel uses the same DARS agent system that powers TRUE’s main chat, with the chart state pre-loaded into every turn as structured context.

The rules it enforces

  • Live data only. All derivatives overlays, KPI ribbon values, and ETF flow panels display live data or the most recently available data point. Stale data is clearly marked as such with a timestamp. The chart never silently displays old data as current.
  • Timeframe-appropriate data aggregation. Derivatives metrics (OI, funding, liquidations) are aggregated to match the selected timeframe. Viewing a 1-minute chart shows 1-hour aggregated derivatives data; viewing a daily chart shows daily aggregated data. This prevents the visual mismatch of showing a single funding sample against a 1-week candle.
  • Symbol mode validation. Not every asset has derivatives data on every exchange. When derivatives overlays are active for an asset without sufficient coverage, the overlay panel clearly indicates that data is unavailable for that specific asset rather than showing empty or zero values that could be misread.
  • Chart context passed to AI on every turn. The AI panel snapshot of chart state is rebuilt and passed to the AI at the start of every conversation turn. The AI never operates on a stale chart snapshot.
  • No execution from the chart surface. AI Pro Charts is a read-only analysis surface. No trade can be initiated or executed directly from the AI Pro Charts interface. Execution flows through the main swap and agent surfaces where explicit user confirmation is required.
Analysis tools, not trading signals

Derivatives data, AI-generated market takes, liquidation heatmaps, and funding rate overlays are analytical tools for your own interpretation. They do not constitute signals or recommendations. The same data can support contradictory conclusions depending on your trading thesis, time horizon, and risk tolerance. Always form your own view before acting.

Safety, security & trust

Data source transparency. Derivatives data is sourced from major exchange APIs and derivatives data aggregators. The data source for each overlay is labeled within the panel. When a source is temporarily unavailable, the affected panel displays a clear unavailability message rather than showing zero or cached data.

Price data continuity. The chart’s price data is powered by TRUE’s price engine, which operates with automatic failover across multiple data sources. If the primary price source for an asset becomes unavailable, the engine switches to the next source in the failover chain and logs the switch. This makes TRUE’s charts more resilient than single-source charting solutions.

No financial advice from the AI panel. The AI chat panel is explicitly bounded to analysis and interpretation. It will not tell you to buy or sell, will not predict specific price targets as directives, and will not represent its outputs as investment advice. Every AI-generated summary carries the disclaimer that it is decision support, not a directive.

User data in chart context. The chart state (symbol, timeframe, active indicators) is passed to the AI as context for chat responses. This data is used only within the current session and is not stored as a long-term profile signal beyond the session memory model described in Chat.

24/7 crypto market accuracy. AI Pro Charts is designed for crypto markets, which trade 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. There are no market-hours restrictions on data access. Data for crypto assets is available continuously without weekend or holiday gaps.

Why it’s well thought through

Context-aware AI as a first-class feature. Most charting platforms and most AI assistants are separate tools. In AI Pro Charts, the AI knows what the chart shows — the symbol, the timeframe, the active indicators, and all the live derivatives metrics. This eliminates the friction of manually explaining your chart state to an AI assistant before asking a question. The chart is the context; the AI already has it.

Derivatives and price in one view. Professional traders routinely cross-reference price charts with funding rates, open interest, and liquidation data from separate terminal windows. AI Pro Charts integrates all of these into a single, synchronized surface where the timeframe of all panels is consistent. This reduces the cognitive load of maintaining context across multiple tools.

Liquidation heatmap as structural intelligence. Most charting tools show only price. The liquidation heatmap adds a structural layer showing where market participants are concentrated and where forced-selling or forced-buying cascades are most likely to emerge. This is the kind of intelligence that was previously available only through specialized, expensive terminal subscriptions.

ETF flows as institutional signal. Retail-focused charting platforms rarely surface institutional flow data. AI Pro Charts treats ETF daily net flows as a first-class panel rather than an afterthought, recognizing that in the current market structure, institutional ETF allocation is a meaningful price driver for the assets they cover.

Timeframe-consistent data aggregation. Showing 8-hour funding samples against a 1-minute candle produces visually misleading charts. AI Pro Charts maps every derivatives metric to the appropriate aggregation for the selected timeframe, ensuring the visual representation is analytically meaningful.

Common questions

Which assets are supported? AI Pro Charts currently focuses on crypto assets. The full derivatives overlay suite is available for assets with sufficient derivatives market coverage on major exchanges. The chart surface (price and technical indicators) is available for a broader asset universe. Symbol search shows which overlays are available for each asset.

Is AI Pro Charts available on mobile? The full derivatives overlay suite and AI chat panel are optimized for desktop. A mobile-friendly view of the chart with the KPI ribbon is available on mobile, with reduced overlay support due to screen space constraints.

How current is the derivatives data? Derivatives metrics (open interest, funding rate, long/short ratio) refresh on a short cycle, typically every few minutes. Liquidation data reflects the most recent full reporting window from the exchange APIs. The KPI ribbon and panel headers show timestamps so the freshness of each data point is always visible.

Does the AI chat panel remember my previous questions? The AI chat panel maintains a conversation history within the current session. If you close and reopen AI Pro Charts, the panel starts a fresh session. For persistent multi-session conversations about an asset, use the main Chat interface.

What is the difference between OI rising and falling? Rising open interest means new capital is entering the derivatives market — new positions are being opened. Falling open interest means positions are being closed — existing exposure is being reduced. Rising price with rising OI is generally interpreted as trend continuation backed by new money; rising price with falling OI may indicate a short squeeze where existing short positions are closing rather than genuine new long demand entering.

What does negative funding mean? Negative funding means the perpetual contract price is below the spot price and short holders are paying long holders to maintain the price anchor. Sustained negative funding indicates that the derivatives market is structurally skewed short — more capital is positioned for a price decline than a price increase.

Can I set price alerts from AI Pro Charts? Price alerts are set from the asset cards in the main app interface, not directly from AI Pro Charts. Signal transition notifications are available via the Realtime API.

How does the liquidation heatmap work? The heatmap aggregates estimated open position data to produce a density map of where positions are concentrated at specific price levels. Clusters represent price levels where a significant number of positions would be liquidated if reached — these levels can act as magnets for price moves as market makers and algorithms target concentrated stop-loss and liquidation orders.

Is the price data the same as what the rest of TRUE uses? Yes. AI Pro Charts uses the same price engine that powers TRUE’s quotes, signals, and chat responses. The same failover, data-source prioritization, and accuracy guarantees apply.

Can I use AI Pro Charts without the AI panel? Yes. The AI chat panel can be collapsed, leaving the full chart and derivatives panel surface visible without the chat interface. All chart and overlay functionality is independent of the AI panel.

  • Signals — AI-generated trade ideas that can be cross-referenced with the chart’s derivative context.
  • Agents — the same AI system that powers the chart’s embedded assistant.
  • Price Engine — the data layer underlying all chart price and candle data.
  • Agentic Trading — the execution layer for acting on chart analysis.
